THE SWAGGERIN' GROWLERS - RIOT FOLK - BOSTON, MA:
All good ideas start by about the fourth drink. In this case, it’s four pints of a strong stout. The local beer variety store, Smiley’s, carried growlers of it, so we figured what the hell, lets try it on draft. After all, we are brewers and musicians – arms manufacturers in the war against prohibition; The front line soldiers in the war against boredom.

MassBytes TV: Episode One - Diving In Tasty Burger with The Old Edison
"The Old Edison is a HoodFolk band from Boston, MA. Originally started by
four friends with three guitars and a couple harmonicas, they have
since grown to a seven piece band including bass, drums, fiddle, banjo,
mandolin, and whatever other acoustic instrument they can get their
hands on. On Saint Patrick's Day in 2010 they released their first album
"there's always a place in Dorchester..." and quickly grew a dedicated
and core group of fans around the Boston area. In January 2011, they
released their second album "Story-Yelling" to a sold-out crowd. They
have since been traveling around New England, gaining friends and fans
along the way. 2012, they are looking to begin touring up and down the
easy coast and hopefully release another record by the end of the year." - Liam Boyle
