Why is it late? I was down with my in-laws in Connecticut for Easter (and what I cooked for Easter is forthcoming in a later post!), got home last night all tired, and then today we had a house inspection to go to, which I actually had to duck out of early to go get my hair cut, so I would stop looking like a teenage boy in the 70s. Which is a cute look on some people, but it's not what I'm shooting for.
Aaaanyways, cookies! They're peanut butter swirled with Nutella. They were yet another reward for someone who helped fund the Hookerclops album (specifically, my mother-in-law, haha) - and I cannot say enough positive things about Kickstarter in terms of how helpful it was in getting this cd to be a reality.
As you may already know, the way it works is when you're setting up a fundraising page to fund your project, you have to set up different giving levels, and each of them has to come with a reward - it can't be people giving you money for nothing (well, it can, but only if the donor chooses to waive their prize). So one of the levels the band set up got you a signed cd, and something baked by me. You have now missed your chance for that, since the goal was reached and the cd was made, but if you really want me to bake you something, god knows I love it, so, y'know... hit a girl up. If you live in Boston, I can give them to you; if you don't, I'm not averse to shipping a box of something somewhere.

Or maybe you would like to make these cookies for yourself! They are pretty damn delicious; they're a little crumbly, instead of my preferred chewy soft cookies, but in this situation it seems appropriate. I got the chance to use my cookie scoop I got from Christmas, but you certainly don't need crazy equipment to make them; just scoop them with a spoon! Here's the recipe, knock yourself out!
