If I Was Going To Do A Local Documentary....

If I Was Going To Do A Local Documentary...
I would do a documentary on Amy Griffin.

After watching THE PUNK SINGER: A FILM ABOUT KATHLEEN HANNA, I started to look around for strong women in the Boston music scene. My eyes always fall on Amy Griffin. She is quiet, yet ties in so much. I cannot explain it. I know nothing about this lady, but she is everywhere. Every time I go to check out a new band, she is there with her guitar. How many projects is this girl on? I can only imagine how often she performs or is surrounded by local music. Whatever the magical number is, more women should take note on that. What are you doing everyday?

From what I gathered over the last couple of years, she was - or still is - in the bands DARKBUSTER, AVOID ONE THING, JITTERY JACK, AQUANUTZ, CIVIL WARBLERS, FULL BODY ANCHOR, RAGING TEENS and THE OTHER GIRLS.  I swear she is/was in about twelve other bands, but I cannot even keep track anymore.

WHERE THE HELL DID YOU COME FROM, MS. GRIFFIN? BECAUSE, WHOA.

I want to know her story.
